2008 Arkansas Boys State Chairman

The 68th Session of The American Legion, Arkansas Boys State Program was held June 1st through June 6th, 2008 on the campus of The University of Central Arkansas at Conway, AR.
The closing session on Friday afternoon, June 6, 2008, featured a presentation by The American Legion followed by the 10th Annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony. All Legionnaires and their guest as well as the Boys Staters family were invited to attend.
The delegate fee remained as last year, $125.00 per delegate. However, due to rising cost across the board, starting next June of 2009, the delegate fee will be $150.00 per delegate.
We had a very successful program this year. 565 delegates from across the state participated. I want to thank the posts, schools & parents for their participation in sending these fine young men to the encampment. Our success is solely dependant on your help and dedication to this program.
The 2009 Arkansas Boys State session will again be held on the campus of the University of Central Arkanasas (UCA) in Conway.
